Playing poker together with old friends must be pretty sweet as in the above story. Whenever I have spare time, I like to stay with my friends, we are happy no matter what we would do for fun. If firends of the same interest like playing poker meet each other, it must be much more exciting.

If you can determine how many outs you have you can use the following formula:
After the flop # of outs X4 + 4 (9 outs for a flush X 4 = 36 + 4 = 40% chance of hitting your flush)
After the turn # of outs X 2 +2 (9 outs for a flush X 2 = 18 + 2 = 20% chance of hitting your flush)

I find you arguements quite funny. The “World” series should encompassed……. the world and not just Las Vegas! Also many of the titles won by the players you mention came when just a couple of players entered the tournament before the 2000 boom. It has been online poker that has saved the WSOP and people like Annette Obrestad can only be good for the long term survival of the game. She has a right to critisise players who play badly against her - they could learn something from the exceptional young talent and great ambassador for the game.
